...I was hoping sharing it with the others would encourage them to share it with me in turn. But... that may not be something that works for everyone here.

Even if you did that, you'd have to coordinate it with your whole group. If the other three all admitted to receiving the same one while you claimed something else, that would stand out in the same way as claiming not to have received anything at all.

Simon was probably relying on us not communicating. Because he's not the type to do it, himself. [ or, perhaps, more graciously: ] Could be that he's afraid of people acting on this information, too.

I talk to Amelia, Fukuzawa, and Livio fairly regularly. If you'd like, I can try to see if they'll tell me what they know, if anything.

If his team made a strategic decision or something, I don't want to manipulate his feelings. Maybe it's okay if we don't trust each others' teams.
