[ this also sucks a lot. he's terrible at reaching out and stabilizing someone, more prone to awkwardly hovering than anything else. especially in a case like this, where livio is really clearly going through it, and he's torn on whether it's better to touch him or not.

but given how bad the memory is, he chances it. it's feather light, gentle and tentative when he tries to reach for his arm, repeating: ] Livio.

[ before haru can reach his arm, livio's other hand snaps out super quickly to grab onto his hand -- but it's about that second that he realizes it's haru, so he just kind of. freezes mid-grab and retracts his hand, still breathing with that weird pattern ]

[ he doesn't flinch or startle when livio grabs at him, but he does hesitate a moment before letting the trajectory of his hand finish, touching down very lightly on his arm. ]
