[ puts us in... the streets of japanifornia!

kate's over at the park, but not to look at the park... but to use the open space to get some perspective on the skyline of the city. her eyes aren't visible, of course, but her head is tilted upward as she looks on in quiet awe. ]

So this is what a big city is like...?

[ even with all the new locations lately, it really is the first time they've been spat out in a city. he looks out over japanifornia plaintively. ]

Mm. It's similar to my real world.

[ except SORT OF californian. ]

...It must be an adjustment, compared to going back to that village again. [ scawwy locations were much less metropolitan as a whole. ]

[ nodding. ] It is... I've never seen so many large buildings so close together. Do you get lost often?

[squirt]

Not really. I've lived in the same place my whole life.

[ so he knows the ins and outs of the place. just like he knows the ins and outs here. ]

Though I'm moving soon, so I'll probably get lost then. This place is supposed to look like where my new school is. [ Tokyo... again, KIND OF ]
