Couldn't come soon enough, I think. [ it has been a long eight weeks. ] But nearly there. Hanging in there? This place just got insanely busier all over again.

I've... been better, probably, but I've been worse. So I would call that a win. Everybody's back and we know the murder cycle's ended, and we don't have to really worry about more achievements. Makes the rest of the week a little more clear, I think.

Back to the daily grind, mostly. I... have a lot of paperwork still. The old God left a lot of stuff behind that I have to kinda re-organize, not to mention work out some new measures. It's a lot to figure out. [ there's a little shrug. ] I wish it was something more exciting.

I think we've had enough excitement. [ for a lifetime. two lifetimes. ] Rin is a little ahead of me. But apparently I'll catch up with him at training camp for Worlds. After that, who knows...? I know he wants to get to the Olympics.
[ haru has to settle in for uni first, which is much more mundane than restructuring heaven. ]
It's good to get back to the routine. Especially after all that's happened.
A little ahead isn't the worst as long as you're both on the same page. I know why he's so determined to succeed. But what about you Do you actually care about the Olympics?

... I don't mind routine. And I don't mind getting back to something a little more normal. But it's gonna be a little jarring don't you think?
...I didn't originally want to be a competitive swimmer. It was too much hassle. [ ... ] Or maybe it was that I was scared of working hard at something and not being good enough. But yes, now I do want to go to Worlds. And maybe the Olympics, someday.
[ he's a little braver about having dreams these days. ]
It's going to be weird to go back to our lives. But I think having a goal will help. Just... some sort of vision, to help us move one from this.
It sounds like you have something you want to accomplish, too.
It's a scary thing to consider, right? Putting in the work and wasting that time. But I think it's a good goal to have. It gives you something to work for, especially if it's something you love. I wanna see that.
