[ livio will look for haru again but this time he will keep a good amount of distance in case haru understandably never wants to speak to him again ]

[ haru is at a park lake, just gazing out into the water from where he's sitting at the grassy bank.

he does not seem to hate livio's guts, though. he just turns to look at him, then back at the water. he can sit, if he wants. ]

[ perhaps in the most lame and predictable way ever, livio will deposit a bottle of water within haru's reach, then back away ]

[squirt]

[ well. after a moment, he takes the water and drinks it. ]

You can sit.

[ he was truly about to leave help ]

[ but with permission, he will sit nearby, close to the water, still giving haru some space ]

What are ya gonna do now, Haru?

[squirt]

[ of course he was. haru really doesn't... seem mad at him, though. it was an emotional trial. he saves his anger for a select few—everyone else was just affected by the circumstances.

but the question—it probably hurts more than most that he's gotten today. he puffs out a silent laugh in disbelief, helpless. ]

...I don't know. [ he really doesn't. ]

[ livio just has like one or two issues it's probably fine ]

[ he goes quiet, too, not really even trying to offer any advice or comfort like he might have a few days ago ]

.... Maybe yer competition isn't over. Maybe ya just need to get enough points to win and get him back. Then ya can really stick it to him.

[ yeah livio seems fine. just overall. in general.

he falls back into the grass soundlessly, lightly. it's soft. ]

That means I'd have to win, Livio.

Yeah, it does.

[ putting his yaoihand in the water..... just feeling the sensation of it, but still looking over at haru ]

[ the lake probably feels nice, despite being rin's bathwater. ]

I don't want to.

[ it's not shounen sports protag determination ringing strong behind his answer though. winning this kind of game sorts like its own kind of terrible. ]

So what do ya wanna do?

[ he tries to focus on the sound of the water. the breeze. the grass against his back and not the thoughts of rin at the forefront of his mind. ]

I want to live out these next few weeks peacefully. Even if it's all I get. But... I have a team to win for.

[ yeah, and it's not like he has an answer to that. especially not today. livio threads a hand through the water idly ]
